James Thomas Porter

Jim was born in Paris, Tennessee and made Tallahassee his home ten years ago. He was a retired executive in the Banking Industry and was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Jim is survived by his wife, Jeannie Porter, 4 sons; Phil of Jacksonville, Preston of Tampa, Jim Jr. of Dacula, GA and Miles Donaldson of Tallahassee, four daughters; Judy Faulkner of Snellville, GA, Page Hyatt of St. Augustine, Janet Carmichael of Monroe, GA and Tammy Donaldson of Tallahassee, his sister, Pat Ann Wilson of Greenville, FL, 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James and Clarice Caldwell Porter and two sons, John and David Porter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crawfordville United Methodist Church, P.O. box 37, Crawfordville, FL 32326, or Big Bend Hospice, 1737 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
