Joyce O Revels, 71, of Tallahassee died Wednesday (7/22) at the Hospice House. Born in Wacissa she has lived in the Tallahassee area all her life. She had been a claims processor for Capital Health Plan and had also been a member of New Hope Christian Center. She enjoyed crafts and did a lot of ceramics and also enjoyed shopping. Her greatest joy was her children and she loved being with them and cooking for them.
Preceded in death by a grandson: Brandon Tye; she is survived by her husband: Don; daughters: Candis (Brad) Adams, Dianna Collins both of Tallahassee; sons: Marion Tye of Whigham, GA, Danny (Bridgett) Tye of Tallahassee; foster mother: Annie Ruth Crawford of Tallahassee; grandchildren: Shelby Tye, Ashley Tye, Dalton Palmer, Blake Tye, Sidney Tye, Peyton Adams, Colbey Adams, Cassidy Adams, Taylor Collins, Kyle Collins Bailey Houtcooper; great grandchildren: Gracelyn Wilson, Joshua Tye; and 12 siblings.
