

Linda Rose Wirthmann, of Tallahassee, FL passed peacefully on July 31, 2013 at the age of 44. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Willi Wirthmann. Linda was a loving homemaker who was devoted to her children and husband and volunteered frequently at Killearn Lakes Elementary School, Deer Lake Middle School and had been a Girl Scout Leader. Linda also taught Sunday School and had been involved in the Braille Bible Ministry and the Van Ministry at Epiphany Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, Gregory Wirthmann, daughter Courtney Wirthmann, sons Brandon Wirthmann and Preston Wirthmann who all reside in Tallahassee. She also leaves behind her father, Albert Perez and mother, Yong Son Perez of Dallas; her sister, Brenda Perez of San Francisco; her brother Anthony Perez of Houston; and her mother- and sister-in-law, Margot Wirthmann and Gabriele Wirthmann, respectively, both of Charlotte.
Linda was born in Seoul, South Korea to Albert (U.S. Army) and Yong Son Perez and was raised in Guam, Hawaii, and Texas. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas and married Gregory Wirthmann in 1992. The couple and their children have lived in Dallas, Tulsa, Connecticut and, since 2002, Tallahassee.
Linda enjoyed cooking, gardening, running and, above all, raising her three beautiful children.

A memorial service will be held on August 8, 2013, 7:00 PM at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee.
A subsequent memorial service will be held on August 10, 2013, 1:00 PM at SGI-USA Culture Center, 2600 N. Stemmons Freeway, Suite 190, Dallas.
