

Lynette Cecilia Redaelli passed into her new life with God on Sunday, August 18th, 2013 at the young age of 60. She was born on October 15th, 1952 in San Salvador, El Salvador to the late Mario Emilio Redaelli and Nelly Avilez de Redaelli. She graduated from The American School in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Lynette enjoyed employment for Gillete and she later worked as a stewardess for Taca International Airlines. Later, in 1989, she moved to Panama City, FL with her children and then, in 1992, made Tallahassee her home. Though she spent her last 24 years in northeast Florida she maintained many close family relationships and friendships in El Salvador. Those that knew her would say she was kind-hearted, humorous, generous, and determined.
She was a passionate and devoted Catholic. Lynette was an active and dedicated member of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Quincy, FL and Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee, FL. She spent many days volunteering her time sharing the Word to those in need. Lynette had an enthusiasm for learning and read with gusto. No matter what the topic she truly treasured a good book. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting, drawing, and sculpting.
Lynette was a loving mother of four children. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Lynette was survived by her sons Gerardo Arevalo, Alex Arevalo, and wife Megan; and daughters, Lynette Davidson, husband Scott, and Ariana Knepton. Her oldest daughter, Lynette Davidson, recently moved to Tallahassee with her husband and her two grandsons, Christopher and Robert, to be at her side. Her children plan to honor their mother by keeping her memory and spirit alive.
Also surviving are Mario Redaelli and wife Julie, Giannina Redaelli Thornton and her husband Bill, Lorena Redaelli de Rodriguez and husband Arturo, and Aldo Redaelli and wife Lynn.
Her service will be in San Salvador, El Salvador on August 31st in los Jardines del Recuerdo. A mass will be held in her honor at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church on September 7th at 5 o’clock in the evening.
