Lynndee Melton Turner

Lynndee was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Turner, of Tallahassee. Together, they have five children and one granddaughter:

Stacey Turner Marlow (Kent) of Tallahassee; Betsey Turner of Tallahassee; Ronnie Turner, Jr. of Tallahassee; Evan Turner of Tallahassee; Jada Turner of Tallahassee; and MacKenlee Sullivan of Blountstown

Lynndee was a dedicated wife, mother, Maw-Maw, and friend. She worked as a telecommunications dispatcher for the Tallahassee Police Department for over 30 years. Once retired, Lynndee spent most of her free time using her very creative mind on arts and crafts.

Lynndee is survived by her sister Ginny Rudell (Darrell) of Tallahassee, her sister-in-law, Kay Porter Howell of Monticello and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Frances Melton of Tallahassee, her mother-in-law Berty Porter of Tallahassee, sister Kathy Melton, brother Ronnie Melton, and brother-in-law Bryant Howell.

Lynndee will be laid to rest at Meigs Sunset Cemetery located at Carter Street, Meigs, Georgia 31765 on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at ten o’clock in the morning.
