Mae LaFay “Fay” Dick, 90, passed away on Saturday February 12, 2022. She was a native of Tallahassee, Florida, born on November 19, 1931. She was a lifelong and devoted member of Oak City Assembly of God (Tallahasee, Florida). She loved her family, and enjoyed being the historian of her family’s deep-rooted heritage. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, sewing, taking pictures, sharing memories, and was an avid birder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, (LeRoy Jefferson Barton and Annie Mae Barton); daughter, (Brenda Moody); and husband of nearly 55 years (Donald Jay Dick.)
She is survived by her brother, (Roy Lamar Barton); daughters, (Ann Broome and Bonnie Salmon); 8 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; and 4 Great Great Grandchildren
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Culley's Meadowood, Riggins Road Chapel (850-877-8191) at 11:00AM, the family will receive guests at 10:00AM. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 noon at Roselawn Cemetery.
