She was born in Columbia, South Carolina on April 26, 1952. Mops graduated from Winnsboro High School and received a degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley. She married the love of her life, Reggie Farrow, on June 25, 1971. Mops retired from Florida State University where she worked as a program specialist.
Mops had a passion for gardening and loved going to the beach. She was courteous and always brought happiness and love to everyone around her.
She is survived by her husband, Reggie Farrow, and daughter, Shannon F. Anderson (Dean Anderson). She was a Nanna to her grandchildren, Hannah Anderson and Taylor Hope Anderson, and great grandchildren, Keegan Kaine and Arianna Anderson. She is also survived by her brother, Steve Taylor, and sister, Beth Edmons.
A graveside service was held Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.
