Marie Louise Donnelly

MaLou Donnelly, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, August 22.

Born in Brusly, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Stuart R. and Lorraine Bourgeois.

She is survived by her two sisters, Lorraine Parnell and Eva Demarest (Dick); a beloved and devoted cousin, Bruce E. White (Susan); and six children, Marie A. Donnelly (Johnny Andrews), Thomas S. Donnelly (Barbara), Catherine Sage (Jon), Teresa Donnelly (Jon Culton), Robert Donnelly (Ginger) and Sarah Donnelly (Kevin Tracy); and grandchildren Katie Anne, Alan, Drew, Claire and Jack.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Thomas Donnelly and a son, John Edward Donnelly.

MaLou was devoted to her family and her church and had many creative and artistic talents. She was a true friend to many, and dearly loved the outdoors, boating and fishing even into her later years. She was a beautiful, generous and faithful Southern lady.

A visitation and memorial mass are scheduled at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perry, Florida at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., respectively, on Saturday, August 25.

Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
