

Mark was born in Tampa, FL on October 19, 1965. He attended Tallahassee Community College and Florida State University and worked as a Senior Database Analyst for the Florida Department of Corrections (DOC). Prior to his employment with DOC, he was a 3rd generation employee of the Florida Department of Transportation. He was loved and highly respected by his colleagues at both Departments.
Mark is survived by his son; Reed R. Miller; mother and stepfather, Judy M. Harrison and John E. Harrison; sister, Erin K. Schepers; niece Kayleigh M. Perkins (Dawson); aunts Colleen H. Miller and Margaret L. Miller; cousins Paula James (Larry), Leona Boutwell, Iris Jones (Wally); close family friends, Bob Hinde and Cindy Suhrweir. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clovis Henry Miller and Lillie Mae Burke Miller; uncles Thomas Levy Miller; William Ray Miller; and aunt Elizabeth Ann Miller Perkins and uncle Riley Perkins.
Mark, always ready for an adventure, had a passion for traveling the U.S. and abroad. He enjoyed performing arts and attended many musical theatre performances and concerts. Mark also loved nature and wildlife and as a teenager owned peacocks, pheasants, ducks and geese.
Mark will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the National Wildlife Federation.
