Ms. Young born in Stuart, Florida, was the daughter of Ernest B. and Lucile Maxwell Nipper. She was a long-time resident of Tallahassee, Florida.
Survivors include: Raymond Impara of Tallahassee; one daughter, Angel Catina Palmer (Kevin), two grandsons, Ryan Barrett (Kira) and Landon Barrett and one great grandson, Corbin Barrett of Tallahassee; step-father, Gene (Carolyn) Rathman of Tallahassee; two brothers, Larry (Cathy) Nipper and Dennis (Ashley) Rathman, both of Tallahassee; and one sister, Michaelle (Terry) Woodberry of Fort Walton Beach; and aunt, Lindsay Gay Griner of Tallahassee.
Melissa worked as a legal secretary in both public and private Florida institutions. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her four-footed babies. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
