She worked over thirty years for the Florida Department of Revenue. She had lived in Tallahassee since 1960. Her passions were traveling and her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Carl Baker.
She is survived by her sister Kay, three children, Rick (Jocelyn), Nancy and Michael (Sandy). She also leaves four grandchildren, Tamarind, Nolan, Shannon and Kimberly, all who loved her dearly. She will be remembered long and lovingly by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to either of her favorite charities: Operation Provision, care of Capital City Christian Church or Mexico Ministries, PO Box 596, Denison, TX 75021.
A service in her memory will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Capital City Christian Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Tallahassee, FL.
