

He was born Sept. 15, 1949 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Rayworth J.& Sybil LaBorde. He attended Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, LA and University of Louisiana Lafayette in Lafayette, LA. He worked for Lamar Outdoor Advertising for 40 years, starting as a plant manager and ending as the southeast regional manager.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 23 years Ana LaBorde; his two daughters and son-in-laws, Kelly and Kevin Barnes and Bridget & Kyle Orton; two grandchildren, Brayden & Aubrey Barnes, and future grandchild Olivia Orton; two brothers, Randy LaBorde and Michael LaBorde and spouse Sue LaBorde; one sister, Tammy Anderson and spouse John Kenney Anderson, and several nieces and nephews.
Chip enjoyed spending time with his family and friends but most of all playing golf with his buddies and spending time at the beach.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Thomasville Rd. in Tallahassee, FL. A future memorial service in Baton Rouge, LA is being planned accordingly; date, place and time to be determined and announced in the future. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Big Bend Hospice 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, Fl 32308 or to the MD Anderson Cancer Center for the research of Pancreatic Cancer % The University of Texas 1515 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Tx 77030.
