She formerly lived in Tallahassee and Plantation, Florida and was born and raised in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Pam was a devoted wife, mother, friend and devout follower of Christ Jesus. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and demonstrated that in her daily life through daily devotions and prayer, trusting in Him through all circumstances, and in her service to others. She was a true Prayer Warrior and always reminded others to trust in the Lord, saying “He will never fail you. He always makes a way.” She was the “go-to” person in times of need and for her family, friends and church members, always offering comfort and prayer for whatever situation they were facing. She dedicated her life to service for the Lord in many different ways: helping those in times of need spiritually, physically and emotionally, through her churches’ charities, and to her family and friends. She often stopped and expressed God’s love to the homeless and gave them a dollar inside of a devotional pamphlet. She taught Sunday school for both women and children/teens. She helped organize and distribute items for the food pantries. She was a Stephen’s Minister while living in Georgia and taught Alateen group sessions in area schools in Plantation, Florida, where she lived earlier in her life.
She loved to read. Her favorite book was the Bible, of which she had many that had been read cover to cover and marked up with notes about God’s teachings that spoke to her. In the mornings, she could be found reading her daily devotionals and praying. She also loved adventure books and historical non-fiction, but her life really centered on her love for Jesus and her family. She raised her children to know and love God and to follow his commandments. She survived financial hardships, cancer and a terrible bout of Covid even when the doctors told her family she would not make it, all while trusting God to “make a way.”
She is survived by her three beautiful children, Dawn (Adams) Sechrest of Suwanee, Georgia, Jason Adams and Leslie Adams of Orlando, Florida and six grandchildren—3 boys and 3 girls whom she loved dearly—Parker & Paige Sechrest, Madison & Miranda Adams, and Nathan & Nolan Adams and her sons in-law, Chris Sechrest and Chris Roegner. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Adams, her mother, Rilla Marie Ruble and her father, Delbert Elden Ruble “Gus.”
A private service for the family will be held in Tallahassee, Florida at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home on December 13, 2025. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Samaritan’s Purse.

And lean not on your own understanding;

And He shall direct your paths."
