He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother, Ballard and Desi Edgar; his father, Don Parmele; his aunt, Gloria Pippin; and uncles, John Tatum and Jackie Pippin.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Parmele of Lanark Village; his aunt, Gayle of Marianna; 11 siblings including Ila Parmele of Tallahassee, Bruce (Valerie) Parmele of Bonifay, Chris Parmele Lanark Village, Chuck (Diana) Parmele of Washington State; several nieces and nephews including Bruce Stanton of South Carolina; several cousins; and his 25 year life partner, William Stillman of Tallahassee. He also leaves behind his precious fur babies Hercules, Cinnamon and Megan.
Paul graduated from Carrabelle High School and also received a degree in Game Art and Design. Paul was very talented, his artwork can be seen at his website pep-art studio ( for viewing only). He was a very kind gentleman and would do anything to help animals or somebody in need. He was and is much loved by his partner, Will, his mother and his siblings. He served as a religious program specialist in the US Navy.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Big Bend Hospice in memory of Paul.
A private family ceremony will take place at later date.
