Penny (80), is survived by her husband of 49 years, John C. Lord, their children John Lord and wife Beth, James Lord, Jeff Harrell and wife JoAnne, Joy Stover, and Jodi Harless and her husband, David, as well as 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jil Tunks. Penny was born to Paul C. And Jean Dikeman on May 4, 1941 in Chicago, IL.
Penny’s smile and laughter were contagious, and she made friends wherever she went. Her motto in life was to “have fun,” and she raised a wonderfully close family in that manner.
Penny requested not to have a service and the family is respecting her wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Dr., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
