Robert Peter Johnson Jr., 48, of Tallahassee, passed away on September 9, 2015. He was born in Tallahassee, Florida on February 5, 1967. Bob graduated from Florida High School in 1985. He attended both Tallahassee Community College and Florida State University. Bob grew up in St. John’s Episcopal Church of Tallahassee and as an adult became a member of First Baptist Church of Tallahassee.
Hunting, fishing, photography, grilling great food, FSU football, the beach, and time spent with his family and friends were among Bob’s favorite past times.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Robert (Bob) Johnson and his mother, Barbara Skipper Johnson.
Bob is survived by two sons, Robert Jared Johnson and Dylan Patrick Johnson of Tallahassee and a brother, Gordon Raymond (Skip) Johnson and wife Sheri of Spring Hill, Florida.
A private family service will be held to honor Bob. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 108 W. College Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32301.
