Born in Miami, Roberta moved to Tallahassee in 1976. She was a proud graduate of Barry University, where she earned her degree in business. She built a rewarding career in the insurance industry and was an active member of Holy Comforter Church. Roberta and her husband George Boyer shared 24 years of marriage. They enjoyed many adventures traveling the country in their RV and then throughout Europe.
She is lovingly survived by her husband George, her brother, Bill Brinson (and wife Lucile), her daughters Sheri Miller and Alicia Jones and her three stepchildren, Rick Boyer, Julie Freeman, and Jill Thomas. Her legacy continues through her six cherished grandchildren: Avery Jones, Carson Miller, Ellasyn Jones, Marshall Johnson, Noah Allen and Tyler Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 2, 2025, at Culley’s Funeral Home on Timberlane followed by a brief graveside service.
Roberta’s warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Big Bend Hospice or TMH Heart & Vascular Center.
