He is welcomed into heaven by his predeceased father Howell Curtis Williams.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Russell Williams, 29, and his daughter, Jenna Williams Reichert, 27. He is also survived by his mother, Eva Williams, and his two brothers, Tony and Terry Williams.
Russell graduated from Leon High School in 1972, and was a past member of the Tallahassee Builders Association. Russell will forever be remembered as a kind and gentle man who would do anything for anyone. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time growing vegetables in his garden.
A visitation will be held at Culley’s MeadowWood Timberlane Road Chapel on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by a Celebration of his life at 11:00am. Interment at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Tallahassee, FL.
