Tillman was born in Bradenton, Florida before moving to Tallahassee with his parents and younger brother Floyd as a youth. He attended Leon High School and served in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons, and was an airplane enthusiast. A renaissance man, he enjoyed music, art, history, science and loved striking up conversations with anyone who wanted to talk. He knew how to fix pretty much anything and would help anyone in any way he could.
He is survived by numerous family and friends who will miss him dearly.
His Celebration of Life will be at 11AM on Sunday, January 22nd, at Culley’s Funeral Home on Riggins Road. In keeping with his wishes, no formal services will be held. He wanted everyone to gather and remember him fondly and have a party!
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project at support.woundedwarriorproject.org or Alzheimer’s Project at www.alzheimersproject.org.
