Ginger was born to Hosea and Wilma Pace in Quincy on September 12, 1944. She spent some of her younger years in Texas and Alabama before settling back in Gadsden County. She graduated from Greensboro High School where she was a cheerleader.
Ginger was married to Robert Lee Breeden Sr. on January 10, 1962. Ginger spent most of her working career as the office manager at Suber Cattle Company which later became S and K Enterprises.
Ginger leaves a legacy of love. She never met a stranger and was quick to offer a kind word, a compliment or encouragement. Her passion was her bible studies and serving in her church. She co-founded the Women’s Prayer Group which was a multi-denominational group of women from numerous churches that met monthly to pray and support each other.
Ginger is predeceased by her parents Hosea and Wilma Pace, her son Curtis Lawson Breeden and her brother Terry Pace.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Lee Breeden Sr., her son Robert L. “Bob” Breeden Jr. (Lawrence) of Knoxville, TN, brothers Raymond Pace (Angie), Larry Pace both of Tallahassee and Randy Pace (Ginger) of Newton Alabama, her sister Marilyn Suber of Blountstown as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Big Bend Hospice and specifically Hospice Nurse Schelbie Vickery for her dedication and outstanding care in helping Ginger as she battled until the end. We would also like to thank her in-home nurses aides who took such outstanding care of her and loved her like their own family member: Linda Gilyard, Katie Mathews, Cynthia Perkins and Tamilla Shuler. We were blessed to be able to keep Ginger at home during her final few years due to the dedicated and loving care of these ladies.
Family requests those who attend the services to please wear casual attire.
Family requests donations be made to Big Bend Hospice or Thomas Memorial Baptist Church.
