

She was born February 19, 1997 to Jorgette Juarbe Fitzgerald (Edward). She was later adopted by John Baptista and Donna Baptista (Donald Joyner).
During her childhood she became a child in Boystown where she grew into a loving butterfly.
She finally found her forever family with her mom Niya Hubbard.
Whitney was involved in many activities and church. She was a flag football player, cheerleader, and volleyball player. She was involved in the nursery at Genesis Church. She obtained her High School diploma at Godby High School where she received numerous awards and recognitions. She was currently enrolled in Tallahassee Community College aspiring to become a nurse.
Whitney loved to help others and was an Angel here on Earth. Whitney defines her favorite colors as burgundy representing the past and brown and green representing the future and how far she can go.
In addition to her parents, Whitney leaves behind her biological brother Samuel James Lowe Jr., adopted brothers Chris Marinucci, Adnaudta Hubbard (Fanny), and Tabias Thomas, foster brother Corey Blue, and Samuel Ross. Her adopted sister Aleeya Hubbard , foster sister Moniece Jackson and Taylor Ballard. Several other foster sisters and brothers. Adopted niece Mia Hubbard. She had a host of other relatives; her grandparents Harry Leach (deceased), Marie Leach, Sylvia Hubbard, several Aunts, Uncles and cousins, house parents, and friends that loved her dearly.
Finally, other people and organizations that played a role in her life are Boystown, Genesis Church, Guardian Ad Litem, 1st Beginnings project, Florida Youth Shine, Florida Youth Leadership Academy, and everyone that took part in molding, encouraging, and supporting Whitney throughout her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Whitney’s honor on Friday December 30, 2016 at 12 noon at Genesis Church - 4070 Mission Rd, Tallahassee.
