Willis "Ed" Thompson Jr. of Tallahassee, Fla., joined the Lord in Heaven on October 28, 2012 after a short battle with brain cancer.
Ed was born to WIllis Sr. and Hazel Thompson on September 5, 1956. He graduated from Godby High School with the class of 1974 and went on to make a life writing and performing music.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia "Kaye" Thompson; and son, Clayton Edward Thompson. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Tina, Timmy, and Tony Carter; and by his beloved dog Beau.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home on 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee, FL.
