Armand St. Louis, known by his family as "tonton Armand" or "tonton Amè", (nickname given to him by his nieces), and Brother Armand by the members of Redemption Baptist Church, was born on April 29, 1946 in Jeremie, Haiti. Armand was the first born of six children for his parents. As a young man in Haiti, Armand participated in many church events and missionary programs, serving in various leadership capacities. In 1980, Armand left for Haiti to the United States with his late wife Delourdes.
Four years later, his children followed, and eight years later, he continued his pilgrimage to Florida, where he resided until his departure for eternity. Armand was well known in his community. As a resident of South Florida, he worked as an employee for Enterprise Car company for 23 years, all while managing a boutique with his late wife of almost 50 years. In addition to his work, Armand provided emotional and financial support to his family in Haiti, as well as in-kind support to those in need.
Armand was known by many as a God-fearing, respectful, happy, loving, loyal man and devoted husband. He was a member of Redemption Baptist Church for more than 20 years where he served as a faithful deacon. The Lord blessed Armand with four children: Windsor, Richard, Emmanuel, and Marie St. Louis. He was devoted to the wellbeing of his children and grandchildren.
