Randy, one day we will meet again for now I`m still racing and every time I fire that big block Chevy and head into the staging lanes I think of all the good times we used to have racing. I miss you brother !!!

1/29/13  "HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY, RANDY"

Today is "bittersweet", bitter because I no longer receive your calls and hear your voice, but sweet because I KNOW you are eternally safe in the arms of Jesus.

During  your visit November (Thanksgiving), 2011, we laughed, we cried as we talked/walked through all the fun times and the sad times of our lives.  One of the fun times was your 13th birthday party at my home consisting of 12 of your friends and you made 13 in all.  What a fun, educational time we all  had as we remembered the "13 original United States".  My thoughts were of how we could make  your  upcoming 60th birthday just as special, but that was only a thought and not to be.

Your spirit haunts me every Sunday as though you are once again sitting beside me in church, taking my hand and asking me if I would go to the altar with  you.  I will NEVER forget the radiant, glow of peace on your face when Pastor Ken Jordan gave you assurance of  your eternal salvation.  I thank God and the Holy Spirit for reaching you before God called you home so unexpectedly.

PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS.  Psalm 116:15.

My breath was taken away Sunday, January 6, 2014 when a little boy named Austin walked in church who was the ABSOLUTE DOUBLE of you when  you were 8.  I had never seen him before nor have I seen him since.  "Angel unaware??"  Thank you for watching over me through  your spirit.  We will spend eternity together never to be separated again when I  join you, Mom, Grandma, Johnny, and all the others who have gone on before me.

As Mom would say, "I love you the most" - by far more than you ever knew.

Dear God, When does it stop hurting? I Love you sooooo soooo much Randy, you gave me your heart and soul. I know you've found peace among your family that is something that I reflect on every day. I was just informed by John over at John's Cages about the tragic news and I am in absolute and utter shock!

My fiancee' Liz and my thoughts and prayers go out to your family and loved ones. You will never be forgotten.

We had spoken over the phone and in person many times since we met about a year ago and each time, even though I knew you were extremely busy and I had to let you get back to your work, I hated having to hang up or leaving the shop.
I loved the conversations about cars and engines we had, and enthusiasm we shared and I always looked forward to hearing more stories about builds you had come across over the years. You were the kind of person that one would be so fortunate if they could have known you because one could have really learn so much from you.

You were an absolute gem of a guy Dalton; not Dolphin like the fish you used to tell me jokingly... This is truly surreal that I am writing this. 

We'll miss you dearly!

I miss you so......I'll be home soon. Hope you like the marker I've selected....couldnt find one with a motor. So looks like roses the last flower you gave me, you sweet angel.

Well 2 weeks at 7:32 an today....Still hasn't been easy.  So many friends have called me Randy you'd be so amazed(well you already know). I Love You, I Miss you but my heart has all the years of love you gave me. I know you'll watch over me.....Edie

I will treasure every precious minute of time spent with Randy Thanksgiving weekend in 2011 that sealed our bond of trust in each other started over 59 years ago.

If heaven had a phone we could hear your voice everyday because we never thought your going to leave us so early but we do now we just wished that we could just hear your voice and that was enough it's hard to forget about our memory's but if heaven had a phone just to tell you that we will always love and miss you.
