Lorraine Mailloux

Lorraine was born in Waterbury, CT on May 12, 1938 to Donalda and Ludovic Petit. She grew up in Waterbury and married Normand Mailloux in Saint Anne’s church. Not long afterward, they moved to Florida and bought a house in Tamarac.

Lorraine worked most of her career as a computer programmer, retiring from Broward County. She was involved in several community activities. She was also an avid sports fan and would often attend the local baseball and football games.

Most amazingly, she thoroughly enjoyed quilting. Many of her nieces, nephews and friends are proud recipients of her high-quality quilts, which are veritable masterpieces of art.

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Normand Mailloux, her sisters Loretta Peloquin, Simone D’Auteuil, Florence Petit, Rita Dupont and brother Joseph Leo Petit. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Bailey Memorial - 6701 W. Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, Florida 33319 on Friday July 29th from 10:00 am – 11:00 am followed by funeral from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm.
