

She was born in Port-De-Paix, Haiti on December 31st, 1928 to Napoleon Lebrun and Caireilia Mersius. During her years in Haiti she spent her time working as a farmer and tending to agriculture as a family; also growing livestock in order to provide for her family and immediate children. She grew up with her sisters Marie Louise Lamy, Elvita Hyppolite, Anasia Hyppolite, Lavictoire Hyppolite, Rose Marie Leandre, Marie Yvrose Lebrun, Marie Marthe Lebrun, and Mrs Frank Leger. She used her skills in commerce to provide an education for her nine children. Her children are Fortune Defranc, Damise Francois, Leonard Senat, Dieumenn Senat, Marisebelle Senat(Deceased), Liverta Senat(Deceased), Marie Ange Senat, Jean Claude Senat(Deceased), and Willy Senat.
After her husband's passing in the early 1980's she became a widow and dedicated her life to caring for her children and grandchildren in Haiti. After roughly 20 years she migrated over to the United States in the early 2000's spending every summer voyaging back to Haiti with her son Leonard in order to visit her daughter Marie Ange and grandchildren. During her twenty two years in the United States she loved spending time cooking, cleaning, gardening and creating delicious meals including her favorite dish fresh fish, plantain and yellow yam for the family. She enjoyed her favorite fruits and was always visited by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Marie departed this life on Saturday May 21, 2022. She is survived by six children, twenty four grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She is loved and will truly be missed.
