

Dr. Maurice "Tipape" Fils Mainville born November 20, 1955, to Mrs. Gertrude Viard and Mr. Maurice Mainville. He was the last of seven children. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1982. He has held various positions, both in the Ministry of Public Health in Haiti and in various United Nations health agencies. His most recent post was as an Advisor to the Secretary of Public Health.
During his time there, he helped many members of his community, which was his greatest passion. Maurice advocated for better health care for all, including friends and family. This was clearly demonstrated by his hard work as the Population Director. Tipape has lived a very happy and fulfilling life. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. Tipape has always shown his love for life through his laughter and his passion for life.
This departure leaves in pain his Wife Margarette Saintus and his first wife Dr. Marie Joseph Camy Mainville, his children: his adopted daughter Rose Tania Mainville, Donald Mainville, Dorothy Rose Jorice Mainville, his sisters: Rosita Mainville, Micheline Mainville, Elsie Mainville,his late brothers : Pierre Gerald Mainville, Jean Claude Mainville and Mauclair Mainville, his many nephews and nieces, his cousins and cousins, his colleagues from the Ministry of Public Health and Population, Radio Guinea, the Haitian Association of Public Health, the Haitian Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology, his classmates and his many friends.
A visitation for Maurice will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at
Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068
Committal service will occur on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:30 PM -
Our Lady Queen of Heaven, 1500 S State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
