I had the pleasure of working directly with Neil at Collins Aerospace.  He was the most respectful young man I have ever known.  Despite any pressures on the job, he always had a smile and had a great attitude.  I know his positive approach to life rubbed off on those that knew him. Such a great young man to pass away too early in his life.  I had the pleasure of working with Neil and passing along my knowledge to him as he began his career.  I’ll always remember his smile when I would greet him.

When I received the news of your passing , I was in total shock. We have so many great memories together from my wedding day, birth of Veer, Saturday hangouts when you and the crew would work on your project cars, to game nights, cruises , staycation, Christmas parties and Veer’s birthdays. Veer was truly blessed to have you in his life and have you as his god father. I will always remember your smile and that unique laugh of yours. I am deeply sadden  by hearing of the passing of Junior.  I have had  the opportunity to mentor him a little  as I would sit with him and teach him from the Word of God. He was such a humble young man who displayed a quiet disposition.  It is appointed unto man once to  die...but it is always hard to accept the reality of this truth.

JUNE BUG, BUG or BRO was my name for you. I ask the question why the good has to die?, but they say we shouldn't question GOD.  (Deep sigh).  When i got a call i couldn't! believe as you had so many years a head of you and with your ambitious nature I know you had a lot planned.

 I remember it like yesterday, when we use to travel to school together(ages ago as we a get ole) and when I use to visit both in Ramble and in FL. You are always fun to be around, nothing negative came from you...positive vibe all the time.

Where do you start, when someone who is young, strong and has the rest of his life in front of him, taken away in an instant. Lavern, how can we tell you it will get better when a mother is supposed to go before her child. She is to tell them about her funeral preparations and not the other way around. How do we understand the mysteries of life when something doesn’t fall in the cycle of life. The pain is never going to go away, but with time we all learn to cope. Junior as I know him to be, was a gentle Teddy Bear. He was always pleasant.  A smile seemed to come naturally for him. I admired the way he treated Kaniyah and Lai’la he was such a good role model to them. The girls adored him. He had a special bond with Lai and you could see it. It was her Junior and she was his Lai’la. They spend lots of time together.  It is very hard to explain death to a child.  What do you say to ease a child hurt? A mother's pain? A brother losing his brother? A father losing his son? Death is not an easy pill to swallow. It’s raw, it’s painful and the longing to connect with you Neil will forever be etched in our inner parts. Your memories will always be in your heart and in time it will help to remove the pain of missing you. May your soul rest in eternal peace. May the Heavenly Father cover the living and keep us safe. Memories are all we have of you now. You are absent in the body but present in all of our hearts and minds.

Cruises will never be the same without you, same with our game nights and family get togethers. Your laugh was always so contagious and I’m going to miss it, along with your singing and that beautiful smile of yours. I remember the day we brought home Stella and had to bathe her in your bath tub. We were both soaked but still laughed so much that day. I am so lucky that I was able to spend my birthday weekend with you and the rest of our crew. I can still see you blasting AC/DC while dancing, and playing your air guitar by the pool. I’ve made so many memories with you that I’ll keep close to my heart, forever. You were genuinely one of a kind and I am so lucky to have known you.
