

Vernon Paul, Jr. was born on May 28, 1961 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and lived a life full of love, kindness, and generosity. Vernon was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend, known for his warmth, sense of humor, and dedication to his family. He touched the lives of many with his unwavering support, infectious laughter, and compassionate heart.
Vernon's life was a testament to hard work and perseverance. After graduating from Erasmus High School, he received his Bachelor's from Baruch College and his Master's from Nova Southeastern University. His career spanned over four decades, during which he made significant contributions to the field of finance and accounting. Vernon's strong work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident throughout his career.
Beyond his professional achievements, Vernon was a man of many passions. He loved music, dancing, good food (""po-griyo""), the ocean, delivering dirty jokes, and had a deep spirituality. He also loved his family and friends - always selflessly offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Vernon served as a mentor and father figure to many and was an inspiration of dedication to family and friends.
Vernon's greatest joy came from his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Nancy, of 39 years; and a loving father to his children, Valerie, Vernon, and Phillip. He cherished every moment, whether it was family vacations, Sunday dinners at Mommy Evelyne's, or simply sharing stories and laughter around the dinner table. Vernon's presence brought joy and warmth to everyone he met. We were truly lucky to have known him, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Nancy Paul; his children, Valerie Paul, Vernon Paul III, Phillip Paul; his granddaughter, Amira Spruill; his sister, Magdalie Magloire; his nieces and nephews, Fabienne Portes, Khalil Armand, Jeffrey Armand Jr., Isis Armand, Imani Gonzales, Allison Butler, Craig Butler, Elizabeth Magloire, Magdalena Griffith, Merissa Magloire, Giovanni Magloire, Belinda Joseph, Valentino Paul, Francisco Leonidas, Rodney Dumornay, Raymond Saintlouis Jr., Monique Saintlouis; his mother-in-law, Evelyne Armand; his father-in-law, Carlos Sanz; his brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Armand, Raymond Saintlouis, Gary Magloire; his sisters-in-law, Betty Armand, Barbara Armand, Darlene Saintlouis; and daughters-in-law, Shelliann Paul, Khylie Williams.
He has joined the ancestors in spirit with his father, Vernon Paul; his mother, Wilda Mathieu; sister, Carline Joseph; and sister-in-law, Marie-Yolene Dorsainvil.
A Visitation for Vernon will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Bailey Memorial, 6701 West Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, FL 33319, followed by a Funeral Service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
