We saw that Tori was a bright light in every space she occupied from early on. Her creativity and positivity inspired everyone around her. She had a way of encouraging others to see the best in themselves — to laugh, to create, to push forward, and to live fully.  She was a woman of influence!  Absolutely beautiful on the outside, but her inner beauty was second to none.  Even during her illness she still made time to reach out and show genuine love which was a part of who she was! Though her time with us feels far too short, the impact she made will continue to live on through the people she touched and the joy she brought into our  lives.

I am truly at a loss for words.  Tori was someone with whom I share some of my earliest memories, and though we weren’t related by blood, she was—and will always be—my sister at heart. She was a truly talented and creative soul whose joy had a way of touching everyone around her. I will forever cherish the memories we shared, holding comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and with the Lord and Savior!   Will miss your presence TT!!

I want to share what Tori taught me. I’ve spent many years studying people, behavior, and what shapes us into who we are. I mention that because, even with all that awareness, meeting Tori and watching the way she loved life, family, and friends was something entirely different. It was inspiring. She made me feel like she had more of a reason to live than I did.
I love life and all its glory, but when you stood next to Tori or even just watched her, you couldn’t help but feel grateful, like you needed to give everything you could back to life.
I’ve spent much of my adult life helping people rediscover their light and purpose, but truthfully, I didn’t fully understand the depth of that until I met her. The light that poured out of her, that magnificent smile and heart, was unlike anything I’ve ever known.
I’m no victim, but I do feel a deep sadness for not having had more time with her. I had hoped to be closer, to share more moments with my niece. In the six years I’ve known her, I only saw her a handful of times, and my heart feels impoverished by missing out on knowing her more deeply.
She was pure love and light, and she loved her family fiercely. I know she is everywhere now, and she can be felt so deeply by anyone who opens their heart.
The gift she gave me is something I didn’t know I needed. I’ve always considered myself a grateful person. My kids even joke about how I tell everyone I meet how much I appreciate them and how they’ve impacted my life, and how thankful I am for every single thing I have. But I will never take another day for granted.
Tori made me realize how small the little things really are, how much more there is beyond what we see and worry about. She gave me that gift, the reminder that there is something so much larger than life itself. I’ll forever be grateful for her. You lose a part of yourself when someone like her passes on.

Tori and I spent our childhood together, between one another homes and Daybreak Assembly.  We were at Sunday's and Wednesday's Services, then if we had Dance practice on Saturday, or rehearsals for the many plays we were apart of, we were together .  Also being a part of our choir meant more time to hang out along with Ebony, Janae, Abigail and Chaela. We always had fun singing and dancing, which we both enjoyed.  I was older and I remember her response when I became a teenager.  She had many jokes and lots to say,  but how I repaid her when her time came. I recently returned to church after not coming for some years and we certainly picked up where we had left off with the same love and jokes that I remembered.   She loved the Lord unwaveringly and her joy never faulted, no matter what  she was going through!  She always went out of her way for me despite being in pain.   We conversed as newly weds and she was such an encouraging voice to Chase and I  as newly weds and recommitted believers. My lil sis became my Big sis who I appreciated and loved so much.  I will miss her quick wit and the unconditional Love she showed us! We will missed her so much!!! RIP Victoria

Victoria, there are still no words for our loss of your beautiful spirit. You were truly a woman to be admired. You will forever shine brightly in our hearts as your legacy of love, joy, and passion for God continues through those whose lives you touched. I'm going to miss your wit and sass...you were one of the best! But I rest assured knowing that you are better off than the rest of us, for you have seen true victory by now being face-to-face with the Father!

Dear Lord,
If sunflowers grow in heaven, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in Tori’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek, and hold her for a while. Remembering her is easy - I do it every day, but there is an ache within my heart that will never go away.

Dearest Tori, I have loved you from the moment I witnessed your birth. Thank you for the beautiful memories I now hold on to.

One of my favorite photos of Tori with Sarai.  Seeing Tori dance on stage inspired Sarai to want to dance too! Her little protege. On this day, she sweetly offered to watch over Sarai backstage for us,  that was just who she was, thoughtful, kind and full of joy.

Tori was such a light, radiant, genuine, and filled with the love of Jesus. She will truly be missed, but I know she’s now singing a new song to the Lord and dancing in His presence.

We mourn with you and we continue to lift her family and friends in prayer during this time of deep grief and sadness.  May the Lord wrap  them in His peace, comfort them with His love, and remind them that the Lord is still with them, even in this. May His presence bring strength, hope and love.

In Cuba, I remember having a long discussion with Tori about being once more paired with a PK.  I went on to tell her God is funny in that my freshman year in college roommate was also a pastor’s kid and in that time I thought what an uncommon pair we were. I began to tell her what I learned, my life experiences, and my observations of being in such close proximity to a PK with all the challenges they faced. Talked about  judgments of required behavior they were to adhere to, etc. She shared some of her thoughts, and we both laughed. I am so happy that I was able to tell her she was fine just as she was and don’t be afraid to go after what it is that you want in life. From that moment on, Tori and I formed a bond and understanding for each other. I will truly miss you my little sister. ❤️💐

Words just cannot describe the gut wrenching feeling that came over me hearing about your passing and the battle you were facing prior. I am going to miss you so so much! One of my fondest memories was when me and the family came to Florida, and you and I were just chilling and speaking Spanish together. Singing together. Laughing together. I remember the day I met Tori and the day our friendship began. She sat at the table behind me at enc and while waiting for our meeting to start we introduced ourselves and my first impression was how much joy she seemed to have. Fast forward a few months and we had been hanging out more and one day she and I were studying and doing homework together and she turned to me and said “you and I are going to be good friends” and she detailed how and I remember admiring her intentionality. Overtime, I came to realize that she was intentional with everything; through all the laughs, adventures, conversations, random worship nights, in faith, even through hard times and sooo much more she taught me what it means to always trust in God. I counted myself blessed to call Tori one of my best friends. I will never forget your smile, your laugh, your beautiful voice, your words of wisdom and encouragement, and our friendship. I love you Tori, rest well ❤️

Victoria was talented/gifted in many areas, dance, drama, and music, just to name a few.  My favorite memories of Victoria is when I heard her singing. Tori will be missed dearly her smile, her jovial spirit and she was just a joy to be around . I find it hard to believe that she is no longer with us but she is in a better place  completely healed. No more pain for her. I pray strength for all who knew her.

Tori shined like a light upon a hill. Her smile captures the heart of a frown  and turns it upside down. To me she demonstrated what God looks like in the earth ..caring,  kind, and she offered words of hope. 26 years seems so short to us but while she lived she demonstrated what songs of praise looked like, what worshipped looked like , what being prepared looked like.

Tori was a joy to be around. Has been all her life. She was as competitive as the boys, well now men in her life. She loved dance, drama and music. But my favorite memories are of her soccer days. She wasn't the best player but boy she was one of the fiercest competitors. And she often times compete in pain. There were days when she would go out to play wearing a back brace but that still never slowed her in the least. The times shared with her and the boys as children, were a real blessing in my life. And those moments have lifted me through some of the most difficult times in my life. You will surely be miss my niece. RiP. All the love in the world, and my sincere condolences.

Victoria was a light ✨️ that will shine bright in our hearts forever.  i have many memories but I would have to say my best memorie was watching her face. Lights up just knowing she was gonna be MRS Terry. From start to finish, even the touches on the decoration. The flowers arrangement the radiant look of her walking down that aisle knowing what's to come? I will never forget that moment. It's embedded in my mind seeing her walking down the aisle.It was with grace, it was as if she was dancing, that dance she practiced her entire life for that moment. And as she exit the church, her husband gave her that  dip as we watch her do it so gracefully as only  Victoria, would we miss you and love you always i  know that now you're dancing in  heaven.with the other angels.

My favorite memory of Victoria is when I met her on Dec 31, 2023. It was my first time at Daybreak and after a wonderful service of prayer, she came up to me and greeted me with a warm smile. She welcomed me in and made me feel a sense of belonging. She invited me to be apart of Daybreak Young Adults and explained the purpose was to do life together and have community. What she did not know was that exact moment was an answered prayer from God. Since then this has been my home church and I’m thankful that her warmth was assigned to me. I’m forever thankful for her positivity, her kindness, warmth, and love she extended to me. She will never be forgotten 🩷 I know she is now walking streets of gold, crowned daughter of God, and singing songs of praise with our Heavenly Father.

My heart goes out to you and the entire Alexander and Terry family.  May you find peace and comfort during this difficult time .

In January, I spent several days in FL with Tori. Ugh, I just loved being around her and spending time. Even though she wasn't feeling great and we couldn't do much, that really didn't matter. We went to Fresh Kitchen, celebrated her friend's proposal at the beach, had a girls game night... the next time I visited her, it was just for one night. She was hosting the worship night at Daybreak, and as she worshipped, she was healed. She could sing even though she had been dealing with lung issues and could barely breathe & talk that day. She was stomping around the stage. It was clear that God meets her while she worships.

Tori made everything 10x more fun, and when I look back, I genuinely enjoyed every moment with her to the fullest. Time with her was just always so fun, deep, and encouraging. Part of this too was how reciprocal our friendship was - we poured into each other and showed up for each other.

Okay, wedding weekend was such a blast. And Tori's energy and zest - such a time. I mean look at this photo :) Being there for this day was an honor, and I'll never forget it.

Tori was sooo loved and respected by our community. Everyone got to experience her passion through worship on Sundays, small groups (with young professionals + young married couples group), fun outings like these...I'm gonna miss my buddy :'(

This photo was taken at a special time - February 2023. Tori and I were rapidly deepening in our friendship and discovering the many ways we were similar - from having written similar journal entries about boys, to dreaming about our future families, to bonding over our shared interest in finance. We were hanging out 3-4 times a week, and on this day, we went to Hillwood Estate, took pictures by the creek and gardens, then went to our favorite burria taco spot in Maryland.

We both saw this friendship as a true answer to prayers, as we were both craving deeper community in DC. Literally hanging out with Tori was like a breath of fresh air. God would lift my burdens just being around her. So fun, so sweet, lots of laughter, and always honest, direct feedback. These moments really reminded me that God was my good Father who could craft friendships like these even after college.

To Michelle, Alan and the extended family. We are so sorry for your loss, God has gained a beautiful angel. May you all find comfort and peace during this time and as the days go by, and may Tori’s beautiful smile continue to shine in all our memories.

I did not meet Victoria personally but when my friend Michelle shared the sad news with me I immediately started praying I called on all my prayer warriors. She touched my heart deeply.  I know she is in a better place because I know the  God I serve knows what is best for us.

A favorite memory of mine with Tori is when she came to visit D.C. during my first semester of law school and took me to one of her favorite lunch spots on the Wharf. Before that, when she was discipling me, I was unsure about moving to D.C., but she encouraged me to take the leap and move in faith. It was such a wholesome, full circle moment to be in the city she had motivated me to move to and to see it through her eyes. I’ll always cherish that day and the warmth, wisdom, and faith she poured into me.

Alexander Terry

Tori and her siblings grew up alongside our family, sharing so many wonderful moments together. They went to school, danced on the church team, and sang in the children’s choir—filling every room with laughter and joy. Even from a young age, Tori’s radiant smile could light up any space.

She was baptized with Abigail, and from that moment, her love for the Lord was evident in everything she did. Tori had a beautiful singing voice and an even more beautiful spirit. That same smile and joyful heart stayed with her through the years, touching everyone she met.

We are still coming to grips with the fact that she’s gone, but we find comfort in knowing that she is with the Lord she loved so deeply. Her voice, her light, and her memory will live on forever in our hearts.

Forever grateful for the childhood memories we shared. You’ll always hold a place in my heart! ❤️

I don’t drink coffee but I was curious of all the flavors and you kindly offered to make me a cup. You asked me how I like it and decided you would make me a cup just like the one you make for your mom Pastor Michelle. To this day it was the best cup of coffee I ever had. I would remind you often how delicious it was. So just know if you open a coffee shop in heaven, I pray I’ll get to visit one day. You have taught me so much in the short time I got to know you. One lesson I will cherish forever is your faith, no matter what obstacles were thrown your way. You always kept your faith and prayed for others to trust God all the time.
