Alice G. George departed from her earthly home suddenly on May 21, 2023, at the age of 89 in her hometown of Brandon, FL. She was surrounded by family and loved ones at the time of her passing. Alice was born to Samuel and Helen Lambert on July 20, 1933, in Ft. Meade, Maryland. Alice was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. While her death was sudden, Alice was more than prepared to be rejoined with her husband of 34 years, Edward George, and youngest son, Paul Craver and stepdaughter Cindy Williams all of whom had predeceased her.
Alice enjoyed being around her family and friends and was especially fond of traveling, reading, and knitting. She believed that all newborn children should have a personally knitted blanket and cap from her! She was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and helped with food distribution for the homeless.
Alice is survived by three of her four children, Bruce (Marcia) Craver, John (Valerie) Craver, and Denise Licata, one daughter-in-law, Georgia Craver, two stepchildren, Carol (Glenn) Moore and Leslie (David) Hamm, her brother, Samuel Lambert, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
