Her parents were William and Helen Miles. Her siblings are Kenneth, Roger (recently passed) & Everette, two brothers; Kenneth and Everett Miles, her sons; Kevin and Kurt and daughter Kimber.
Beverly devoted her life to teaching and raising her three children. We have great memories of her warmth, love and devotion. We would come home after school with the smell of homemade cookies and cinnamon with the warmth of a fire going in the fireplace in fall & winter. She was a fierce protector of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an adoring grandmother to Kevin II, Ally, James, Holly, Drake,Zoey, Kayley , Keira and great-grandchildren ; Tim, Evelynn, Paityn, Skylar , and Milana. Mom would frequently express how lucky she was to be a part of their lives. Beverly always made sure they had warm homemade chocolate chip cookies and chocolate fudge at Christmas time. She truly enjoyed having the entire family together for the holidays and weekends.
Sewing crafts was a big part of her life. Her pride and joy were her teddy bears and dolls which sold at home shows, craft fairs, and in her craft store in Danbury, Connecticut. She was pleased that she left her dolls and teddy bears everywhere we lived; Maryland, Oklahoma, Hawaii, California, New York and Connecticut. She was an amazing cook and baker. She enjoyed making her family's favorite desserts and meals.
She adored her cat, Cleo "Kitty", and her dogs; Bobo, Frisky, Teddy, Hobbes, Lacey, Gryphon, Ollie & Lillie. She would always make sure to sneak them treats when she thought no one was looking. They definitely got Christmas presents with the best wrapping paper. Mom wrote her favorite childhood memories were of teaching her brothers when they had to stay home due to the weather. Her brother Kenneth shared she would make him shirts that were the envy of his friends. Mom also wrote she found satisfaction in throwing the boys books down the cellar stairs when they wouldn't clean properly. She was an amazing wife, mother, and sister. We love her and will miss her dearly.
