Beverly Thayer Sisco

Beverly dedicated much of her life to caring for others and sharing her many talents. She worked as a beloved Kindergarten Aide for Hillsborough County Schools and was a devoted homemaker, bringing warmth and creativity into all she did.

A true lover of nature, Beverly was an active Gardener and a proud member of the Bromeliad and Tropical Plant Society of Tampa. She had a gift for working with her hands, whether sewing intricate pieces as a skilled seamstress or preparing exquisite dishes as a gourmet cook. Her beautiful soprano voice filled many hearts with joy, and she especially loved singing. Her love of animals, especially her many cherished cats, brought her endless joy and companionship.

Beverly was faithful member of the North Boulevard Church of Christ, long into her battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

She is survived by husband, Harold T Sisco; her children, Lance Sisco and his wife Tina, Sherolyn Rymal and her husband Jim and Trent Sisco and his wife Patty; her grandchildren, Ashley Berrier, Sarah Rymal, Lindsay Jordan, Kalyn Sisco, Austin Sisco, Avery Sisco and Autumn Mennella; and her great-grandchildren, Iris Jordan, Isaac Jordan, Luna Mennella, Eli Mennella.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Sadye Thayer and her brothers, Bert Thayer and Nelson Thayer.

A visitation for Beverly will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories followed immediately by the committal service at 1:00 PM at Garden of Memories, 4389 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
