Blanca Adelfa Leyva

Blanca Adelfa Levya, 91, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was a strong, loving woman - who adopted everyone around her as her own. Adelfa enjoyed cooking and baking, playing dominoes with her family, and traveling the world. She also truly enjoyed decorating and ensured she was always "dressed to impress".

Adelfa was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years and the father of her three children, Lucidio Leyva; her four siblings - Abdel Uranga, Vicente Uranga, Yeny Sevila and Nino Uranga.

She is survived by two daughters, Maritza (Ramon) Rigal, Laura Leyva and one son, Lucidio (Mercedes) Leyva, Jr; 3 grandchildren, Stephen (Melissa) Rioseco, Vanessa (Channing) Pittman, and Laura Terhune; one great-grandson, Cameron Pittman.

A funeral service will take place at 6pm on Monday, September 30th at Blount and Curry Carrollwood located at 3207 W. Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL. 33618. The family will receive friends one hour prior starting at 5pm.

A short visitation will occur at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home at 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ on Saturday, October 5, 2024, where she will then be transported to her final resting place in Evergreen Cemetery.
