ALLEN, Carolyn Yvonne, 79, of Tampa, passed away March 26, 2019. She was born October 1, 1939, to parents Raymond and Annie Roberts and brother of Charles Roberts. Yvonne was born and raised in Tampa and graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1957. As a homemaker raising four sons, she was always active and involved especially in her son’s sports lives and coached her boys’ team to the Northside Little League Championship in 1970. Over her career, she was involved in construction, restaurant and insurance businesses and was a devoted member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by sons, Gerald H. Jr., Kenneth E., Michael K. and Mark A. Stanley and grandchildren, Brookes, Ryan, Erin, Danielle, Allyson and Landon Stanley. The family will receive Visitation Sunday, March 31, 2018 between 10:00 and 11:00 am at Blount & Curry Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa. Services will be at 11:00 am at the funeral home followed by Internment at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
