Claire Lavinia Anderson

She married the late Major Anderson in 1945. They traveled the country before settling in Tampa. Claire is survived by her two daughters: Patricia Jones, of Tampa; Teri Circhirillo, of Lutz. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Claire was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years.

Claire was a loving mother, a caretaker, and a friend to many. Most of all, she loved Jesus. She prayed for everyone who crossed her path and talked about Jesus to anyone who would listen. Many people would say that Claire had a direct line to God. If you needed prayer, she was your warrior. She was immensely proud of family and loved spending time with her generations of grandchildren.

A visitation for Claire will be held Monday, September 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Claire's final resting place will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610.
