Cristina Leclere-Fernandez

Cristina was born in Lima, Peru on April 8, 1974. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and Fresno, California and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Arts from California State University Fresno. Cristina was married to Onesimo Fernandez Perez on July 29, 2002; they were married 20 years.

Cristina worked as a radio personality for many years in multiple national broadcasting companies. She enjoyed acting, singing, dancing, writing poetry, being an active member of her community, and three theater play companies. She also belonged to a rock band named Ambar. She was also actively involved in raising funds for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Cristina is survived by Onesimo; her only daughter, Yariku Fernandez Leclere; her mother, Ana Maria Ysisola Solis; father, Juan Antonio Leclere Sale; siblings, Juan Antonio Leclere Ysisola and Claudia Simone Estela Ysisola, and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and dear friends.

Cristina is preceded in death by Maria Sale de Leclere, Miguel Ysisola Ortiz, and Juan Leclere San Roman.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the GoFundMe set up to help her family with medical and final expenses.

The family of Cristina Leclere Fernandez wishes to thank everyone for their love, support, and help during these difficult times.

A visitation for Cristina will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, followed by a funeral service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
