Daniel Lugo was born on a beautiful cold morning, January 24, 1971 in the borough of the Bronx, NY. He lived there until the age of 8. His parents Mariano and Genoveva Lugo then moved the family to Philadelphia PA, where they resided for 3 years. In 1981 his family moved to Brentwood NY where he graduated from Brentwood High School in 1990. Daniel enjoyed the last years of his life alongside his wife and daughters in the State of Florida.
As a young boy, Daniel loved everything about cars, football, baseball and Latin music. No matter where he lived, he remained a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan and let’s not forget about how he loved the New York Yankees. Daniel’s smile was contagious; he drew everyone in with that friendly smile. He grew up in a house surrounded by love. Although the youngest of three brothers, whenever they called he used his multi-talented skills to assist with whatever the need was. Daniel was a skilled level four Engineer Mechanic of Estee Lauder, Melville NY for twenty five years. He was valued and loved by both management and co-workers alike. Daniel loved the Lord, in his youth he was an altar boy at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church in Brentwood, NY and as an adult fellowshipped with his family, first at Faith Alive Ministries, Central Islip, NY and then at Promise Christian Ministries, Farmingville, NY.
Daniel fell in love with and married Stacy Bennett. Together for twenty-five and a half years, they raised two beautiful daddy’s girls, Ashley Rose Lugo and Savannah Joy Lugo. In 2014 the family relocated to Florida.
Daniel is survived by his wife Stacy Bennett Lugo and their daughters Ashley Rose Lugo and Savannah Joy Lugo, his father Mariano Lugo Sr., his brothers and their families, Mariano Lugo Jr. his wife Deborah Lynn Lugo and their three daughters, Jalissa Lynn, Kailyn Marie and Samantha Faith, Alex Lugo, his wife Laura Cristina and their two sons Cristian Von, and Marc Anthony, his in-laws to whom he was a son, John C. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.
