Dear Mary, Tevin, Ashley and Nathan,

I don't know if you remember me, but my name is Diana Woodward (formerly Licciardello).  I was previously married to Kevin's brother Robert. 

I just came across this information and wanted to express my sincere condolences.  I remember Dan as a very warm, welcoming and sweet man. 
My mother, nephew and I celebrated Thanksgiving with Dan, Mary, Nathan, Tevin (and the rest of their beautiful family) years ago and they welcomed me (and mine) with open arms, as if we were long-lost family; I will never forget that.
Your photo gallery is filled with smiles, love and family.  Memories you will forever treasure.

I was just thinking about Mr. Titus and how much I owe to him and his family for their generosity during my family’s time of need and decided to look him up. So sad to learn if his passing. Mr. Titus was a great man and a great role model.

I met the Florida  Titus  family  in 1979 when Butch took me there to meet his family,  Bruce & Jane and their children; and Dan and his daughters.  Over the years  Dan and Mary came often to  Raytown and they always  stayed  with  Butch  and me.   Dan was so fond of his  old home town and Raytown High School.  He and his brothers were well known  athletes during the late 40's thru 1960 when  Dan graduated from high school.  I was pleased to nominate both Dan and John to the Raytown Alumni Hall of Fame. When my husband Butch died, Dan helped to guide me through that very sad  and difficult time .  Dan  was one of the most caring persons I have ever known.  Both Butch and I were very pleased when he found  his soulmate Mary  and I want to express my deepest sympathy to Mary and the Titus family

Dan was always there for me as an employer & a friend. He was a great & kind man.  My condolences to the family.

I was a classmate of Danny‘s at Raytown High School. We have many good memories of Danny and our high school years. He was a great person and we will miss him.       

Uncle Danny was important in our family. The four brothers (my dad Butch, Bruce, Johnnie and Danny) grew up in Raytown Missouri in the same house that I'm now living. They were a force at Raytown High School, athletic, fun and popular. I loved Uncle Danny because he was always there for me. When my dad passed, he sat quietly with me sensing my suffering but offering his support in such a kind way.  He was fun, intelligent and always ready to share his perspective. He fiercely loved his family and friends and will be missed. RIP dear Uncle Danny!

Dear Mary,
It was so good to talk with you this morning, and I want to extend my sympathy again.  I know Dan went through a lot the last 6 years, and now he is at peace.  I also know you and your family will miss him terribly.   A wonderful man to be sure.

We laughed and shared stories. Dan always had a great story to share. 

Mary and Dan celebrating our son Kyles wedding in WISCONSIN. Dan and Mary danced the night away!!  I think dancing was one of his passions. 

I was married to Dans brother Butch for 10 years and am the mother of Linda, Trubie and Monte.  I worked with Butch until he retired so stayed in touch with this marvelous family over the years.  One of my favorite memories of Dan was when he was running for President of his Senior Class.  He had me embroider "Dan Titus for President" on the back of Monte's shirt and he took him to school and let him ride around on his shoulders looking for votes.  I also cut the "boys" hair and when I was doing so, Dan would stand in the background flinching as if I had cut a swatch from John's hair.   My sympathies to your family.  Such a loss..
