Destiny Taylor Bailey

BAILEY, Destiny Taylor, of Tampa, was born on January 7, 1999 in Fort Myers, FL to Charles and Stacey Bailey. She passed away on December 26, 2014 in St. Petersburg, FL at All Children’s Hospital at the age of 15. Destiny had many hobbies and passions in life including; theater and the arts, reading, astronomy, playing video games, cooking, baking, painting, drawing, and anything to do with animals. She was an avid piano player and music lover, and a self-taught special effect makeup artist. Destiny is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Dorothy and Merle Bravick, paternal grandparents; Virginia and Charles Bailey and her uncle; David Bailey. She is survived by her mother; Stacey Bravick, father; Charles Bailey and her siblings; Lena, William, Amber, Kristina, Chelsie, Davi and Jordan. Also surviving are her uncle; Eric Bravick, aunt; Lynn Dobbins and husband Dave and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2014 from the Carrollwood Chapel of Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618 with burial to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday, January 2, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
