Dorry was born to Dixon and Dorothy Robuck on September 25, 1952 in Jacksonville,
Florida.
After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Interior Design, Dorry
moved to Fort Myers, where she worked as an Interior Designer for the majority of her
life. Dorry loved her work and was especially attentive to each of her clients.
Dorry enjoyed spending time over the last few years at her house on the lake and
playing with her golden retriever Tucker. She was an enthusiastic and attentive friend to
many and maintained rigorous contact with her circle of loved ones. She had recently
joined the Lake Placid Garden Club and served as Chairman and Coordinator for the
2021 Caladium Festival Floral Contest. Her true passion was her family; her 2 sons and
3 grandchildren. She was enormously proud of their numerous accomplishments and
aptitudes.
Dorry was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Katherine (Kattee) Robuck and
her husband, Edward (Ed) Christy, Jr. She is survived by her sons Trey (Khryss,
daughter Bella), Dixon (Samantha, daughter Amber, son Greyson), and much loved
extended family. She will dearly be missed, but her legacy lives on.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in
Dorry’s honor.
