We would like to announce the passing of Fernando Jose Velasquez Soto, M.D. He was a person who lived to serve the vulnerable community within his medical capacity. Dr. Fernando J. Velasquez was a man of great faith and put it into action by serving others within his church community. He loved the arts, music, painting, singing, and Peruvian culture. He leaves a legacy of care. His family will miss their profound love for him. He is survived by his wife, Lourdes Q. Velasquez, his four children, Carlos, Rolando, Jessica, and Claudia, their respective spouses and eight grandchildren.
