
ESTRADA, Francisco 89, passed away peacefully November 3, 2014. He was born in Mariel (Finca Monte Verde) Cuba and resident of Tampa since he fled the communist rule of his beloved Cuba in 1966. He was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Margarita Estrada and brother Juanito Estrada. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Katie LoRe Estrada and son, Tony Estrada and his wife Rosie Estrada whom he loved like a daughter; grandson, Anthony F. Estrada whom he adored; sister, Leonor Menendez; nephew, Jose Estrada, nieces Carmen Novo and Lilly Gonzalez; step- grandchildren, Arnaldo Cantero , Janna Cantero and Martiza; Fernandez sisters in law, Daisy(Tony)Ysada, Violet(Sam)Muscaglione. Special friends, Pepin(Encarna)Rodriguez. The Estrada Family owned the Finca Monte Verde and the Monte Verde seaside restaurant in Mariel, Cuba which was confiscated by Fidel Castros communist regime. Paco was a proud owner of Granada Meat Market in Town and Country for over 30 years. He was an active member of the Hispanic community in Tampa serving as President of the Latin Chamber of Commerce 1985-1988 and named Latin Chamber of Commerce Business , Man of the Year 1984. Ever lasting friends of el cemento EL Morro and Stadium Sandwich Shop. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, Novem¬ber 6, 2014 at 12:30pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E.
