
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Edyth Bergstrom. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann and his brother, Roger.
Family members mourning his passing include Ruth Harmon; Lenora, Chet, Jacob, and Joshua Testerman; Gilbert, Laura and Emily Harmon; Rachel and Walter Adkins; Kena, Ross and Breana Hurt; Mary Lou, Ann Marie, Douglas, Bonnie, Ashley and Amber Kennedy; as well as Anna, Clayton, Susan, and Stanley Taylor.
Friends mourning his loss include Pam and Danny Rubenstein; Manuel, Hank, and Wayne Busciglio; Gail and David Croft; Doris and Jan Forsgren; Mary Whitehead; all the friends at The Omnia Group, especially Heather, Val, Steve, and Wendy. Their prayers, love, and concern were a great comfort.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation for the staff of the Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Tampa. They gave Fred the most tender, loving care and treated Fred like family. Words cannot express the gratitude the family has for the wonderful care and love that they provided.
Appreciation is also expressed to the LifePath Hospice Gold Team for their care as Fred left this life.
Fred had many wonderful doctors along with their staff who provided excellent care during his final months. Special appreciation is extended to Dr. Lubin, Dr. Root, Dr. Katz, Dr. Heyck, Dr. Redd, Dr. Peters, Dr. Assid, Dr. Chatoor, and Dr. Barrazuetta.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 1PM at Marsicano-B.Marion Reed-Stowers Funeral home with funeral services beginning at 2PM. Internment to follow at Mrytle Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Gilbert Harmon, Ross Hurt, Chet Testerman, Danny Rubenstein, Dr. John Redd II, and Steve Rorrer. Hymns will be led by Pam Rubenstein.
