Gary Louis Allen

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Riner Allen after 18 years of marriage; his parents George Lawrence Allen and Margaret Ritzert Allen.

Gary is survived by his children, Connie Thomas of Lake Alfred, FL, David Meehan of Jasper, FL, Denise Korjack of Zephyrhills, FL, Lawrence Allen of Pensacola, FL, and Scott Allen of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren, Michelle Hash, Mark Thomas, Steven Korjack II, Cory Korjack, Caleb Allen, Joshua Allen, Kristin Allen, Jaden Allen, and Nathan Allen; and great-grandchildren, Devon Gardner, Sadie Vaughn, Eleanor Hash, Austin Thomas, Peyton Thomas, Samson Thomas, Lillian Thomas, Steven Korjack III, and Quinn Korjack.

His favorite hobbies included pool, ham radio (K4CYC), archery, bow hunting, fishing, camping, and listening to a wide range of music. He was of the Baptist faith, accepted Christ as his Savior, and was baptized at Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, FL, on March 11, 1995. Gary proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam ERA.

The family would also like to thank the caregivers at the Melech Hospice for the great care they gave during his last days.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Blount & Curry Funeral Home's Chapel of Lights Mausoleum at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL. Services will begin Friday, June 5th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., with the Interment immediately following.
