Gary Thomas Greer

Greer, Gary Thomas, 84, of Land O Lakes, FL passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Gary was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Hazel Bond and Carl Horton Greer. He attended Ohio University in Athens Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Gary was a Captain in the USAF as an aviation Navigator, worked for the Smuckers Company as a Regional Sales Director for 17 years and in his later years worked for Garden of Memories and Myrtle Hill Funeral Home. Gary had a great sense of humor and always had a good joke to tell. He loved reading the paper and doing the daily crossword puzzle. He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed watching boxing and Nascar. He often would greet the guys with "My Boy." He was loved very much and will be missed dearly. Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Bond Greer; father, Carl Horton Greer; brother, Jack Paul Greer and granddaughter, Krista Marie Sellars. He leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Felicia C Greer; children, Christopher Greer (Darlene), Carey Tyner (Ray), Michele Albert (Jack), Michael V. Gricoski (Donna), Catherine E. Schmidt (Kevin) and grandchildren, Andy M. Campos (Nicole), Michael A. Gricoski, Danielle Watson, Lindsey Gricoski, Hailey Greer, Kameron Greer, Grace Greer and Viviana Tyner.
