CMSgt Gary J. Klunk United States Air Force (Ret), age 72, died Monday, November 5, 2018. Gary was born in Hanover PA November 29, 1945. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Business Administration and served 26 years in the United States Air Force where he retired at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Kathleen Klunk (nee Nunemaker) as well as his three sisters, Janet Wilkins, Jean Eecker, and Yvonne Bonnie Reichert.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Maria, of Tampa, FL; daughters, Anne (Rick) Perez, of Tampa, FL, Rocio (Matthew) Potsko, of Stuart, FL; son, Ryan Klunk, of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Nicholas Perez, Avery Potsko, Preston Klunk and Blake Potsko; sister Joan (Fred) Berwager and her family; and the rest of his beloved relatives and friends.
A funeral is scheduled for Gary at 9:00 am on Friday, November 16, 2018 at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz, FL. Burial at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL will follow at 12:30 pm with military honors. Gary will be truly missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
