Gloria Joan (Thompson) Gasper passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 in Tampa, FL. Her husband of 41 years, Frank E. Gasper, preceded her in death in 2013. She is survived by her children, Robert DeJute (Barb) in Tampa, FL, Joseph DeJute (Jodie) in Howland, OH, a daughter, Catherine Elliott in Niles, OH, two stepsons, Randy Gasper (Debra) and Jeff Gasper (Christine), in Youngstown, OH, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Gloria was a former resident of Diamondhead, MS, and had resided there since 1988. She had also previously resided in Rehoboth Beach, DE and in Youngstown, OH. Gloria attended Youngstown State University, the Choffin School of Art and had belonged to the Trumbull Art Guild. She and her husband were active boaters, served on community advisory boards, participated in numerous community clubs, theaters, entertainment events and activities within the Diamondhead Performing Arts Society. Her hobbies included sewing, pastel painting, cross stitching and quilting.
