Dear Anne and family,
I was privileged to work with and for Greg during the late 90's at TECO Plaza 4, and I even made some business trips with Greg to San Diego and Miami.  Greg gave me opportunities to immerse myself in highly-technical topics, which helped me grow quickly from a young engineer to a subject matter expert.  Greg was known and respected all across this continent.  I will miss him tremendously.

Below is part of a personal e-mail that Greg sent me on August 29, 2014:

"...I served in the Air Force during the South East Asia conflict at Ubon AFB (1967-1968). I was a First Sergeant working on F-4s maintaining Electronic Warfare systems. After the Air Force I went to college using the GI bill (USF).

After my tour at Ubon I 'hitch-hiked' out of Bangkok space available on air force flights to get to Torrejon AFB, Spain where my Dad and family were stationed. I visited with them a couple of great weeks."

Dear Anne, our prayers and most heartfelt condolences go out to you and your beautiful family.  Reynee and I were so saddened by the news of Greg's passing.  We were very much shocked because we had not heard that Greg was ill.  Greg was one of the brightest engineers that ever worked   at TEC.  His kindness and integrity were two of his most outstanding qualities amongst many others.  He will be missed and remembered with love and much respect for the wonderful man he  was.

Dear Anne, Gregory, Elizabeth, Jeff, grandchildren and family, 
We share in your pain, loss and sorrow and our hearts are breaking.  Words cannot describe or do justice to how much we loved and admired Greg.  Greg was a great son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.  His strong faith, and courage, during his battle with cancer, and throughout his life was remarkable.  He loved his family more than life and he made them a priority.  He was always positive and uplifting.  He and Anne were the ones that started our Sanibel Island mini family vacation tradition, which grew and grew with additional members as the years passed.  We have toasted many sunsets and had great family games and fun.  We have searched for shells and fish until the sun went down.  We shared many happy memories and much love, and we will miss him dearly.  
Our only consolation is that he is now home with the Lord.  
Our deepest sympathy to all the Ramon family.
