Boniface, Howard James, 88, of Tampa passed away on April 23, 2015. Born in West New York, New Jersey, he was a veteran of the United States Navy during WW II. After the war, he served the West New York Fire Department for many years retiring as a Fire Chief. He moved to Tampa in 1990 and was a member of the Friendship Class at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church and a member of VFW Post 424. He loved to dance and take cruises of which he took 42. He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Angelina and Fiancé Millie Petite. He is survived by his son James (Karen); daughter Jeanne Patterson (Daniel); 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel from 11 am to 3pm.
